Why can I not just put a fridge in the skip?
Fridges and freezers contain refrigerant gases that are harmful to the environment and must be recovered by a specialist before the unit can be scrapped. Putting one in a skip is illegal. We ensure all appliances go to approved treatment facilities.
How much does fridge disposal cost?
A single fridge or freezer starts from £40. Washing machines, tumble dryers, and dishwashers also start from £40. Multiple appliances get a bundled price — send us a photo for your exact quote.
Do you disconnect appliances?
We can disconnect freestanding appliances that are plugged in. For hardwired appliances like some cookers and ovens, we recommend having an electrician disconnect them first.
Can you take the appliance from anywhere in the house?
Yes. We will collect from the kitchen, garage, shed, or wherever the appliance is located. We handle the heavy lifting.
Do you take American-style fridge freezers?
Yes. We take all sizes of fridge and freezer, including large American-style units, chest freezers, and commercial refrigeration. The price may vary depending on size and access.
